Activities for promoting the process of preparing a CLLD Strategy

On 22^nd January 2016 an information meeting was organised to present sub-measure 19.1 „Support for preparatory activities” and sub-measure 19.2 „Implementation of operations within the framework of CLLD Strategies “ to measure 19 „Community-led local development“ of the Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020.  The meeting was attended by 22 people which were presented the conditions for the implementation of sub-measure 19.1 and the activities which LAG Kostenets 2010 plans to implement within the contracted period and budget as well as the requirements to the local Action groups and CLLD Strategies under sub-measure 19.2.

In the period 22 – 24.02. 2016 LAG Kostenets 2010 organised an information campaign for the measures which will be financed under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and could be included in the CLLD Strategy. More than 80 people participated in three information meetings held in the town of Kostenets, village Kostenets and the town of Momin Prohod.

The priority axis and investment priorities of Operational programme “Human resource development” and Operational programme “Innovations and competitiveness”, which are eligible to be included in the CLLD Strategy were presented to the local community  on 9^th March 2016. The requirements   for applications under the two operational programmes were explained by Ms Valentina Stoitseva, project-coordinator in the “Balkan Institute on labour and social policy“.

On 13^th May 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Meeting Hall of Kostenets municipality, on “Ivan Vazov” str. No 2, town Kostenets, took place the last of a series of information events related to the implementation of the contract under sub-measure 19.1 – Information conference on “Local development strategy of LAG Kostenets 2010  for the programme period 2014 – 2020”. The conference was attended by 52 people.
